A bunch of beings trying to survive in a broken clock
South of Argyfasel, what was once remote and rugged woodlands, are many settlements of the outsiders who fought alongside them, and they are known for their unusual number of magic families with varying backgrounds. Despite settling in, they are on good terms with Argyfasel, but they conflict with barbarians a lot, especially as they move to the islands.
One of the rulers in the Cervar area, he is among the ones who cooperates with Argyfasel the most, keeping the barbarians at the wall in check. Past that, he has ambitions to unify Cervar, as the small confederacy they do compete with eachother, sometimes violently, and potentially the barbarians since he wants more for him and his tribe ontop of making some peace.
A recent character, and meant to show more of the human aspect of Cervar
Among the migrated mages, it's said a number of those families have a curse upon them, and the Watercallers are no different. Eternally haunted, they live alone from everyone else, fearing their haunts will harm other people. Whether it's a strange extension of themselves, or something far worse, Sarocel is one who tries to explore the oddity, whatever interest he may have out of all of them.
Another recent character, mostly expanding on more mage stuff
A slightly eccentric, but friendly mage. A mother in a line of executioner mages, she uses her talents to mend soldiers at Cervar's wall. From an old feud she doesn't know about, she was captured at one point and found brought back as an amalgamation of leeches and a heart in her corpse. Luckily, few people know about this, and she conceals it and her daemon magic, saying it's the special magic of the migrated people.
Daemons find her one of the most headscratching newcomers ever. Of all things, she mostly wants to carry out her life and take care of her kids, even if the world tugs at her.
